The cadastre is a fictional projection onto the Earth's mantle. It is a tool that influences human behavior towards space. Each tool is constantly improved, rationalized, and changed over time.
I was intrigued by the absence of rationality. I sought out cadastral forms where the presence of the river could be felt. I discovered three locations that I merged into a single place through a drawing. The drawing represents the imagined length of the Kupa River's course and relates it to aerial distances. Cadastral plots resemble long, thin hairs that bend towards the river. The roads follow the plots. The journey from one place to another is not a straight line. The fabric of the cadaster intertwines with the fabric of time. Roads, time, and the river all flow together.
